Consent Policy

Consent is the foundation of CreditScore.Africa. If you don’t approve it, it doesn’t happen.

1) What consent means here

Consent is a clear “yes” from you before we (a) generate insights from financial data you provide/authorize and (b) share insights with an institution.

2) How institution requests work

• • An institution requests access to specific insights.
• • You receive the request and can review who requested, what they want, and why.
• • You choose: Approve or Deny (and “Approve with limits” where supported).

3) What we share if you approve

Only the insights you authorize for that request. We do not share beyond what you approve.

4) Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent for a specific institution’s access. When you withdraw, we stop future sharing under that permission.

5) Audit trail

We keep logs of consent actions (request, approval/denial, what was shared) for security and dispute resolution.
